With over two decades of professional experience, she has distinguished herself at the highest levels of financial governance and public administration. As Director of Finance and Accounts at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), she has played a significant role in advancing sound financial stewardship, strategic management, accountability, and development initiatives aimed at creating sustainable value across the Niger Delta.

Kunemofa is a highly accomplished scholar and professional with a Ph.D. in Disaster Risk Management from the University of Port Harcourt, an MBA from the National Open University of Nigeria, and a B.Sc. in Accountancy from Rivers State University. She is a Fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) and the Institute of Strategic Management, Nigeria (ISMN), with professional affiliations spanning taxation, management, accounting, systems, emergency management, crisis response, and disaster risk reduction.

Her commitment to continuous learning and global leadership is further reflected in executive programmes undertaken at internationally recognised institutions, including Harvard University, USA; London Corporate Training, UK; and the Metropolitan School of Business & Management, UK.
