Anderson Obiagwu is an influential figure in the Entertainment industry, and he is known as a PILLAR OF SUPPORT for African youth. He was born in Orlu in Imo State, Nigeria to Chief and Lolo Eleazar Obiagwu and has 6 siblings. He spent his childhood with his family in Aba, Abia State under the close watch of his father who made sure his children understood his business and got some experience of the life of an entrepreneur at an early age. He attended Holy Ghost College, University of Port Harcourt Nigeria, California College of Health Sciences and University of Arizonia.

Mr Obiagwu has lived in the United States for the past 26 years and is a successful Entrepreneur. He has carved a niche as the biggest and most influential African Music Promoter; and subsequently one of the biggest Youth Movement Supporter in Africa. His love and passion for African music has led to the creation of three trail blazing companies -- BIG A ENTERTAINMENT, AFRICAN MUZIK MAGAZINE AND AFRICAN MUZIK MAGAZINE AWARDS(AFRIMMA).

Big A Entertainment is committed to nurturing and promoting African Music to the rest of the world, by assisting African Artists share their musical talents outside of Africa. Big A Entertainment has created a perfect platform to do this through the tours and is committed to nurturing and promoting African Music to the rest of the world. Anderson Obiagwu believes that African artists deserve to be heard and appreciated and this led to the creation of African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA). AFRIMMA is the biggest and most prestigious African Music Awards in diaspora. Anderson Obiagwu is dedicated to promoting African music and honoring its talented artists. AFRIMMA Awards provides a stage for our African Artist to be recognized as they were not being recognized on the main stage at Major Award shows in the diaspora at that time. Held annually, the AFRIMMA Awards will hold its 10th year Award show September this year in Dallas, Texas. 

As a philanthropist, he has, over the past 11 years, organized free Christmas and Easter parties for children in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex to create an avenue for African families to Anderson Obiagwu is heavily involved in charity work in Nigeria as well, through Big A Foundation, Big A Foundation has funded surgeries for children with disabilities and has sponsored hundreds of hard-working youths with their education. Anderson Obiagwu has received numerous awards and recognition for his contribution to Africa and to his community. He has been honored by the City of Dallas, Nigerian Entertainment Awards USA, African Entertainment Awards Canada, and many more.

Anderson Obiagwu is happily married to a beautiful and supportive woman, Ifeoma Obiagwu, also known as Mrs. Big A. A woman who has worked with and stood beside her husband providing all the support and encouragement needed. The marriage is blessed with three lovely children Ikechi, Chimaoge and Chinenye Obiagwu.
